In what has become a pre-Super Bowl tradition, Jimmy Kimmel brought together an assortment of current and former NFL players, including Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola, for an all-football edition of “Mean Tweets.”
“Amendola with his mustache looks like a young Burt Reynolds,” Amendola read, “with the height of Sally Fields. #Super Bowl”
“That’s f***** up,” Amendola replied.
Other NFL stars to get the “Mean Tweets” treatment included former Colts and Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning (“Peyton Manning is the only NFL player that looks like the mascot of the team for which he plays. #horseface”) and former Patriots cornerback Aqib Talib (“I find it hilarious that Aqib Talib tries to act all hard and s*** when the hardest thing he’s ever done is shoot himself in the leg.”).
