Last of the night is Terrence Cunningham who is singing “My Girl” by The Temptations on The Voice for his daughter. Terrence plays the piano and has done so for various artists in the past. He hopes to make it out on his own. Terrence had a daughter when he was 16. He spoke about being the grandson to Etta Baker who is an American Piedmont blues guitarist and singer from North Carolina.
Terrence picked Alicia Keys as his coach. Terrence received a four chair turn.
Blake Shelton said everyone is speechless as he has never heard something like that before on this show. Kelly Clarkson said she just wants to sing with Terrence and is curious why he is not on the radio. Kelly said this show is about strategy and when to show what you need to show to keep you in the competition. Alicia Keys said the thing she did right is to come to this show to meet Terrence.
Blake called Terrence special and said he has not seen anyone like him. Adam Levine said Terrence does not need them but that they need him. Adam said Terrence will be able to teach others what to do.
