Kurt Angle is not going to take it anymore. One week after getting sucker punched to sleep by Triple H, tonight’s (Mar. 5, 2018) episode of Monday Night Raw opened with the General Manager seeking revenge.
Angle called out “The Game” but instead got Raw Commissioner Stephanie McMahon. As McMahon was warning Angle to keep his cool, Ronda Rousey made her way down to the ring.
Last week Rousey was in beast mode, but this week she was all smiles. The reason Rousey was grinning ear to ear? The former UFC champion was picking her WrestleMania opponent.
For her first pro wrestling match Rousey wanted McMahon one-on-one.
McMahon tried to back out but it was quickly noted by Angle that she is an active competitor on the Raw roster.
Triple H finally made his way down to his ring to object but Angle shut him down with a callout of his own. By the time all was said and done, we had a mixed tag team match official for WrestleMania 34 on April 8 in New Orleans.
