
It has to be seen to be believed, this group of orcas earning their nickname of killer whales much to the horror of the tiger shark in their sights.
This is thought to be the first time such an attack has been caught on film, and you see the pod circling its prey, putting on the pressure, then stripping the tiger shark of its fins and going to town.
Underwater photographer Caroline Power and British marine biologist Nicholas Bach had to make a quick escape from the water as the shark fled toward the boat for safety, but they still managed to capture the valuable footage taken in Chatham Bay on Cocos Island, Costa Rica.
