Bus Photobombs The Weather Channel's Stream Of Georgia Dome Implosion

It’s happened to every photojournalist. You’re in the perfect position to get a great shot, and just as the magic is unfolding though the lens, someone or something moves into the shot. Cue Homer Simpson’s classic line, “D’oh!” That’s exactly what happened to one Weather Channel videographer during his live feed of the Georgia Dome implosion on Monday. There’s a great shot of the huge dome in frame, and just as the explosions go off, a bus pulls into the shot and the driver stops to take in the spectacle, completely covering the camera’s view of the building. Meanwhile, the videographer can be heard shouting at the MARTA bus to move out of the way.
