If you live in a place where massive pieces of rock hang over roadways, you’ve probably idly wondered what would happen if a chunk suddenly broke loose (and hoped you weren’t anywhere in the vicinity when it did).
One photographer happened to be in the right place at the right time, in this case, Switzerland; close enough to get great footage, but not so close as to fall victim to this geological trauma. Even better was that a second person captured the rock slide from a distance so you appreciate just how mighty a force was loosed.
It should be noted that this piece had been determined dangerous by officials, and a nearby village was evacuated before the fall.
