What Rooms In Castles Were Like

There’s something about medieval castles that capture the imagination. Perhaps because we have all seen movies or TV shows about the medieval period and have seen some pretty glamorous representations of castle living. This video starts with the most basic possible “castle,” which is really just a big ol’ walled room. From there, it builds to what bigger castles looked like from the inside. Don’t get your hope sup, though, because even the biggest or most elaborate castles weren’t that nice.
