Commercials rarely come in series. There might be common characters––think the gecko from Geico or Flo from Profressive––but the commercials don’t general have a storyline or a sequence. But this Japanese commercial series has a long, soap opera-esque storyline. It’s about a man chewing very long gum who tempts a woman away from her partner. She falls for long gum man, her boyfriend freaks out, and then she falls ill. To see what happens next, you’ll have to watch the series.
