During the early Trump years (yes, that sentence sounds like its from a very depressing history book of the future), a guy named John Turano donned some Spartan armor and attended Trump rallies to battle with Antifa protesters. After a few bloody bouts at different protests, Turano changed his mind. He realized that some of the people on his side were also racist, homophobic, and hateful. That’s not who he was, so he jumped ship.
