Dwayne Johnson's Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle is the latest blockbuster to get the Honest Trailer treatment. Of all 2017's hit films, perhaps none was more unlikely than Sony's Jumanji. A reboot of a semi-beloved 1990s Robin Williams film, the movie exceeded all expectations by soaring to $945 million at the global box office.
The new Jumanji centers around a quartet of kids who get zapped into a video game where they take on adult avatars. Once inside the game, the kids must overcome their flaws and come together as a team. With its silly action, family-friendly story and charismatic performances, the film proved a perfect bit of holiday entertainment as it shot to #1 at the box office, bumping off Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
Now Screen Junkies have set their sights on the unlikely smash hit Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle with their Honest Trailers take. Like almost everyone else, the Honest Trailers crew are impressed with how well Jumanji turned out in spite of everything. Nevertheless, they have some issues with the movie.
