LA Galaxy forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been voted the Alcatel Major League Soccer Player of the Week after his stunning debut for Sigi Schmid's side on Saturday.
Ibrahimovic made an immediate impact in his first MLS match since joining from Manchester United last month, scoring twice to rally the Galaxy to a 4-3 win over new local rivals LAFC at StubHub Center.
The former Sweden international entered the game in the 71st minute with the Galaxy trailing 3-1.
