Grace VanderWaal lets go of all societal pressures and the reins holding her back from true freedom in her new song and accompanying video, “Clearly.”
The reimagined version of Johnny Nash ‘s 1972 classic “I Can See Clearly Now,” shows the 14-year-old escaping a dark, dusty room and rejecting the notion of makeup to cover up her flaws. She throws on an airy white dress and heads outside into the fresh air of her hometown of Suffern, New York.
