Today, they’ve released a new clip where they’re splitting bullets in mid-air using an axe. This is actually a pretty complicated experiment to set up because you need a remote trigger to fire the bullet and you need the axe completely secured in place so it doesn’t budge on impact. Then you need to line up laser precision so you’re not firing and correcting the trajectory all day long. The Slow Mo Guys managed to pull this off in style and they filmed it using their high-speed 4K camera. The end result looks totally awesome in slow-mo HD
