In 2011, Scotty McCreery won the 10th season of American Idol. Ever since that unusual start, his career has been anything but typical: From losing his record deal in February of 2016, to writing a book, to becoming the only country artist in history to have a charting single on the Country Aircheck / Mediabase Top 50 without the support of a label, McCreery defies expectations at every step of his career.
"In the last five years, I have grown from a teenager to a man, moved out on my own, lost my grandfather, proposed to the love of my life, and learned more about myself than I could have imagined," McCreery says.
In 2018, McCreery will release his new album Seasons Change, an autobiographical collection of songs about love, friendships, the loss of close relationships and learning to celebrate life.
