John Oliver has rarely hidden his views about the Royal Family, in fact, he's very public about them. During a previous interview with Seth Meyers, the comedian was asked about the royal engagement between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Oliver said: “It is very difficult for me to give less of a sh*t than I give now. Americans definitely care more than British people do. It’s just Americans. Americans love the idea of watching British people do something objectively silly."
That articulately summed up what some people think about the Royal Wedding.
Oliver hasn't backtracked on those views, in fact, he elaborated on them during a recent interview with Stephen Colbert.
