First of all Lew has a great sense of humour, here are some of the reasons which show that Jack is an imaginary inanimate(Camera) thing:
1. I don’t know when exactly he started mentioning about Jack but in one of the recent videos he pointed to a camera and said look at Jack.
2. He frequently mentions that Jack likes to eat silica gel!. Obviously he is not a living thing.
3. I sometimes feel that the famous imaginary character from Titanic is the inspiration for Lew.
There is an alternate theory as well.
May be there is someone called Jack in his office but gradually he might started making random jokes which made the whole Jack thing controversial and ambiguous. Which Lew knows about and using it as an crowd puller for his channel.
