With the first FUT Champions Cup underway in Barcelona, FIFA commentators Brandon Smith and Richard Buckley tell us which players we should be watching this year.
“This is a groundbreaking year for FIFA,” esports commentator Richard Buckley tells us. He’s got a point – while Spencer ‘Gorilla’ Ealing won $200,000 when he beat Deto in the 2017 FIFA Interactive World Cup Final, this year we can expect even more exciting tournaments on the road to the new FIFA eWorld Cup. The first one kicks off in Barcelona today with 128 players from all over the globe competing to be crowned the first FUT Champion of 2018.
With a virtual MLS league taking place this year, more football clubs around the world are signing up players, but with Tass signing for FaZe Clan this week, massive, traditional Esports organisations are taking notice of FIFA, too.
