There is a big difference between them. Coyotes and dingoes are about as closely related as humans and gorillas. They are two totally diffeernt species.
Dingoes are simply a breed of domestic dog and were bred from European grey wolves less than 10, 000 years ago. As result dingoes the exact same species as grey wolves, poodles, dalmations and labradors: Canis lupus. Dingoes today are found New Guinea, Indonesia, Malaysia, parts of southern India and of course Australia. They were first introduced to Australia around 5, 000 years ago from Indonesia
Coyotes are an entirely different species, Canis latrans, that evolved in North America and have been separate form the Grey wolf for at least 5 million years. Coyotes appear to be most closely related to the Golden jackal of Europe and central Asia and like golden jackals they are perfectly interfertile with grey wolves/dogs.
