After a dynamite 2017, where Blumhouse (and Universal/Comcast Corp.) pulled out box office miracles from Split, Get Out and (to a much lesser but still solid extent) Happy Death Day, it's little wonder that the Blumhouse name is being trumpeted as essentially the key selling point for this cheapie. The film, obviously getting a trailer to go with Insidious: The Last Key (review forthcoming), stars Lucy Hale (who has aged about ten minutes since she began Pretty Little Liars and then cameoed in Scream 4) as a young woman caught in a life-or-death game of Truth or Dare. The premise takes awhile to unfold, but it's a simple hook: You play truth or dare, and if you refuse the truth or the dare you die.
