The Part From Spy Kids That Gave Me Nightmares

We watched Spy Kids quite a bit in school, and the only thing I really remember about it is being creeped out by them. To his credit, he never was really formally trained, he got his start after dropping out of high school and touring with musical theatre groups with his brother. I imagine it's hard to break out of the mold when you only have your prior experience to turn to with no formal theory to shape a new approach. Still one of the most recognizable and iconic modern film score composers though.
