The Il-76 military transport aircraft delivers humanitarian cargo to the Deir az-Zor province while being guarded by the Su-30SM multifunctional fighter from the Russian airbase Khmeimim, located in Latakia province.
After the discharge of the cargo, the "drying" literally looked inside the IL-76, flying up to the transport hatch for a very close distance. The distance between the planes was so small that the military communicated with the pilot of the fighter with the help of gestures.
The pilot showed skill, being in the zone of air flows of the most powerful engines of a heavy transport.
After this maneuver, Su-30SM effectively made a turn and changed its position.
The fighter has an anti-missile radar in the rear zone and is deliberately substituted for a possible missile attack from the ground by its maneuver, until the IL-76 rises to a height of more than 5 kilometers.
