Thousands of hours of video are uploaded to YouTube every day. Most of it is irrelevant, but then there are the pearls. The creators of the YouTube channel People Are Awesome regularly pick out interesting clips from the crowd in which people do truly great things. At the end of the year, they have now put together a video showing the very best of 2017.
Be it special artistic achievements, spectacular skateboarding tricks, football kick-offs, or just lethargic action - some people are really great. And it does not always have to be multiple somersaults while skiing or high skateboard jumps. Sometimes a shot with a bow and arrow or a basketball hit with a baseball bat in the basket.
