Last night, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon put a dark twist on Charles M. Schulz’s Peanuts characters for a Riverdale parody skit. Much like how Jason Blossom’s death sparked the events of the actual show, the Peanuts parody kicks off with the death of Lucy’s brother Linus. From there, the sketch goes all-in, taking jabs at Jughead’s narration, Archie’s love of music and Archie’s affair with his teacher — though good luck understanding her, since the scene capitalizes on the muffled adult voices from the Peanuts cartoon.
