These are troubling times. And when things get dark, you can always count on Kristen Wiig to make you laugh away the sorrow in the most ridiculous way. The Downsizing star dropped by The Late Late Show on Wednesday night (Dec. 6) to shine her beacon of silly, despite host James Corden's best efforts to spread a joyful, heartfelt holiday message.
"Anyone paying attention to the news these days knows that we're in turbulent times," Corden told the audience. "Our country has never been more divided and as a result it's hurting," added Wiig somberly. So, to break the spell of darkness, the pair decided to brighten things up by singing a duet of Leonard Cohen's iconic "Hallelujah."
