Mr. Riu is a Japanese artist that has created a series of incredibly beautiful hand-cut paper art, using a craft knife. The work is so intricate and detailed that sometimes it’s hard to believe but Mr. Riu just seems to have a lot of patience to do his art.
The creations are often mandalas and different complicated patterns, he has even made a few paper-cut Totoros. “I’m just hoping that my work will guide my son (and everyone else) to peace on Earth.”
Now, may this be a lesson to us all: patience does go a long way and Mr. Riu’s work below is absolute proof!
