It’s a breathtaking sight to see a young girl run, flat-out run as fast as she can with no regard for anything but the joy of flying under her own power.
Unfortunately, she doesn’t get very old before that incredible feeling is shadowed by phrases like “Run like a girl,” “Throw like a girl,” “Fight like a girl,” and she starts to slow her steps wondering what that means, and why what she’s doing seems so wrong.
If there’s only one commercial you ever watch for feminine hygiene products, let it be this one, and you’ll never hear those phrases again in the same way.
