It’s understandable that the method of making the world record-holding paper airplane would be a well-kept secret before the big prize was bestowed, but now that John Collins — aka, “The Paper Airplane Guy” –– has his prize, he’s sharing his knowledge with the rest of us.
When thrown by arena football quarterback Joe Ayoob (since you can’t leave this kind of stuff to the amateurs), this plane soared more than 226 feet, and it only takes one sheet of paper to build.
