The star, whose net worth is £82million, made the admission during a chat with Adam Sandler as part of Variety’s Actors on Actors joint interview series.
During the event, they discussed the subject of fans disturbing their privacy and the Oscar winner admitted she doesn't handle it very well.
J-Law said: “Once I enter a public place, I become incredibly rude. I turn into a huge a**hole."
But the X Men star explained that she's not being deliberately nasty, she just needs to look after herself.
