
Amusement parks have them: enchanted haunted houses and spooky ghost trains, so that the blood in your veins freezes. At home, the spook can unfortunately rarely be recreated so professionally. Finally, for a proper horror usually deep into the bag of tricks to be used and so completely without technical know-how is just not. However, those who are as computer-savvy as Dominick Marino can elicit a cry of fear for his guests on Halloween, which may well go through the mark and leg.
For this, the programmer has elegantly framed the display of an old monitor and provided it with some technical finesse. Connected to a Raspberry Pi computer and a motion sensor, beautiful portraits turn from moment to moment into ghastly zombies threatening to fall out of their frames. Without warning, this Halloween gimmick is guaranteed to be your craze and not for the faint-hearted. The complete construction manual is available here .
