
Ever wondered what color dress Grandma was wearing in her high school graduation picture?
In this BBC clip from “Colour: The Spectrum of Science,” Dr. Helen Czerski first presents a black and white photo, then replaces it with a false color image when the viewer is asked to stare at the blue dot in the center.
Give it a try, and you won’t believe what you see when she switches it back to what’s supposed to be black and white.
