There are two basic ways of learning to tie a shoelace: looping it around the tree or bunny ears. The fastest way, though, is neither of these methods.
ProfessorShoelace demonstrates the quickest way to tie a shoe, a handy hack for any teacher or coach of young kids to have in their bag of tricks.
Though the Professor explains it as feeding the loose loops through one another, I found it easier to think of it as grabbing the loose strings and pulling them through the opposite side.
Give it a try.
