Nothing brings a great blue heron down quite like a fishing line, especially when its wrapped around its beak.
Fortunately, a good samaritan was able to enlist the help of employees at the Aquarium of the Pacific to pacify the bird, allowing them to free the poor animal.
The heron had been spotted three days earlier, but had flown away before help could be administered. Fortunately, someone was able to step in before it starved to death.
