Cher was originally scheduled to appear on this episode of “The Muppet Show” back in February, 1981, but after hearing Debbie Harry sing “Rainbow Connection” with Kermit, we’re glad the Blondie singer stepped in.
No offense to Cher, of course.
She also wrapped up the show with one of her signature hits, joined by Dr. Teeth and the band.
