Hunter S. Thompson was a weird cat. Conan had wanted him on the show for years, but Thompson wouldn’t agree. Finally, the writer agreed to an interview, but it would be on his terms: Conan would have to come to a ranch, drink hard alcohol, and shoot guns. So Conan did.
