Kendi, the Cincinnati Zoo’s little black rhino, may be new to the world, yet he knows how to appreciate a good mud wallow when he sees it.
A good, thick coating is actually good for the animals, which use it to protect their skin from both parasites and the sun.
Come to think of it, we’d all save a heck of a lot of money on sunscreen if we let our own kids follow their dirtier instincts.
Food for thought.
