Floating The Possibility Of Gyrocars As The Future Of Mass Transit

As the fight over using precious roadway space for bicycle traffic demonstrates, there isn’t a lot of room to spare on crowded roads or funds available for extensive new mass transit infrastructure. That’s where the developers of gyrocars think they can squeeze into the conversation. By utilizing the space in between traffic lanes, differing levels of gyrocars could seamlessly blend with existing roadways (except for those pesky overpasses) and bypass rush hour jams on specially-fortified strips inserted in lane markers. Interesting idea, but will anyone bite?
