
The cruise ships of today are basically luxury hotels built to float, but did you ever wonder how they build these behemoths of the sea?
Here, we get the chance to see a work in progress in this incredible timelapse of an AIDAprima cruise ship being constructed from the bottom up.
3300 passengers will be able to wine, dine, and relax aboard the ship that uses a special system creating a cushion of small air bubble beneath it to reduce friction and carbon emissions.
