Street art is one thing, but art that escapes into the street is an entirely different matter, as the people of Toledo discovered when Kurt Perschke’s RedBall Project decided to become a traveling exhibit all on its own.
A strong wind and downpour dislodged the piece, and museum workers had to chase the fifteen-foot, 250-pound object down the streets where it ran over a car.
No one was hurt, but the ball did sustain some damages.
