Vinnie Myers once owned a tattoo parlor that specialized in the kind of designs one can find in any city in the nation, but in the last few years, his shop has become the international destination for women seeking a very specific design: the nipple of breasts reconstructed following a mastectomy.
After his shop became booked day in and day out with women seeking his special design, he decided in 2010 to give it up all together, and then got a call from his sister, saying she’d been diagnosed with breast cancer.
Not only did he rethink his decision, he enlisted his daughter to help him expand.
