
When it comes to the computer age, you’ve most likely heard the names of Gates or Jobs, but not that of Claude Shannon, who may be the most important name of all.
A mathematician with a flair for blackjack, it was Shannon who found the simplest of ways to communicate information: Break everything down into a simple “Yes” or a “No” answer…or a 1 or 0, that is.
