SpaceX Sonic Boom Shakes Up Camera Crew

Note to photographers who plan on shooting anything involving a sonic boom: bring an industrial strength tripod. That was the lesson learned by K Space Academy’s Das Valdez when the double sonic boom from SpaceX’ CRS-11 hit him six miles away. “We’re gonna need a bigger tripod. And new pants,” he writes in the video description. “Even if you’re expecting it, the double sonic booms from a landing rocket don’t play around.”
