NASA Maps The August 2017 Solar Eclipse

Have you made your plans to see this year’s total solar eclipse? NASA provides this incredibly detailed map of how the eclipse will occur on August 21, from Oregon to South Carolina, using data from the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter to account for the jagged edges caused by the moon’s terrain.
