How To Spot Bed Bugs

With so many people checking in and out of hotels over vacation, chances are more than a few will be checking beds for unwanted guests. Can you spot the bed bug, though? Lifehacker explains what you need to know about identifying these pests and preventing these bloodsuckers from making the return trip with you. A few things to look for: They are about the size of an apple seed (5-7 mm or 3/16 – 1/4 inch long) They are long and brown, with a flat, oval-shaped body (if not fed recently) But are balloon-like, reddish-brown, and more elongated (if fed recently)… Here’s a helpful how-to video on doing a thorough search:
