How The Toilet Works On The International Space Station

If there’s one thing that does stay the same when living on ISS, it’s that what goes in must come out, or, in other words, everyone’s gotta go. The question we don’t often get an answer to during that field trip to the science museum (but always wanted to ask) was how that works in zero gravity. Fortunately, ESA astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti doesn’t shy away from the tough questions. What we don’t see in there is a magazine rack. Massive fan, yes, magazine rack, no. Of course, that doesn’t look the kind of thing you want to be spending quality time on, anyway.
