Explaining Lord Buckethead, The UK’s Only Intergalactic Candidate

Politics being as it is, it would surprise few U.S. citizens if the current occupant of the White House earned himself a new nickname, but in the case of Lord Buckethead, that’s not the case. The U.K. election chalked up quite a few surprises, yet the most entertaining was the reappearance of the mysterious candidate. As James Whitbrook at io9 explains: So who the hell is Lord Buckethead? But no one really knows if it’s the same Buckethead, because they never reveal their identity. Or maybe Bucketheads are like Time Lords on Doctor Who, and capable of regeneration. Here’s an excerpt of Lord Buckethead’s manifesto: As we all know, stranger things have befallen world politics.
