Most of us are familiar with at least pieces of Vivaldi’s “The Four Seasons,” yet Betsy Schwarm provides a wonderful reason to sit down and rediscover an appreciation for the full piece: its poetry.
Music has long been used to accompany stories, and its believed Vivaldi himself composed the four sonnets to accompany his music.
