A labor of love was called for to celebrate the Blu-Ray and DVD release of Wes Anderson’s The Grand Budapest Hotel, and nothing screams labor quite like the painstaking assembly of 50,000 Lego bricks.
Created by Ryan Ziegelbauer and a team of eight model builders, it was necessary to comb five countries and fourteen states to find all the pieces necessary to put together their homage to the film, but there aren’t many lengths Lego lovers (and Anderson fans) won’t go to make their visions a reality.
