Bear Rels Of Fun In The Forest

We’ve all heard that there’s nothing a bear likes better than a good back scratch, but it isn’t often we see it turn into an all-out pleasure party such as this one in the woods of Alberta, Canada. According to the Alberta Parks service, in addition to capturing video of bears bumping and grinding, these camera traps are helping to assess the health and distribution of wildlife in the area with minimal impact on the animals themselves. Much as in the human world where we have the saying “I’ll scratch your back if you scratch mine,” bears use the same technique to form social bonds, just on a more literal level
