Awesome Dad Builds His Kid A Working Hovercraft

While most kids are playing around with fidget spinners, this kid has his very own hovercraft, thanks to his dad. Paul Boswell, a research scientist in Minnesota, built his son a toy he could drive recently, except this is no soapbox car. Nope, Boswell built his son a hovercraft. But while it looks really cool, Boswell said that he wouldn't recommend the build for anyone else. "I originally built it thinking it would be safer than a go-kart. You know, the billowy skirt would make it so you just bounce off everything. Nope! It's hard to steer and heavy," Boswell posted on Reddit. "It slams into things hard. I added the rope to the back so I could stop him before he figured out how to control it himself." Regardless, Boswell gets the cool dad award.
