Though the tiny house movement appears to be a new phenomenon, one only has to look back to the 1970s to see where some of its inspiration might have originated: the Super Bugger.
The Super Bugger was the brainchild of a third party company who constructed and sold the unusual vehicle for a cool $6,000 in 1975. They used fiberglass paneling to construct a small living space behind the two front seats.
Though they lacked fancy sleeping lofts (or any sleeping space, whatsoever) and many of the luxury accoutrements we’ve become accustomed to seeing in today’s are lacking, you can’t deny the cute factor.
